What's Good? -after Anna Brones
Rottweiler purrs, iced coffee that can be savored, snow flurries on a Saturday morning when there is nowhere to be, couch cuddles with a furry friend, a hot fire in the wood stove, high quality wool socks and hand knit stocking caps, crunchy snacks & salty snacks & sweet snacks, a coffee table covered in journaling supplies, good books & trash tv, messages from my mother, waking & baking & listening to music that moves, slow starts to the day, stretching & breathing deep, a pen that writes like butter, pizza especially when free, sword fights with paper towel tubes, children’s laughter, my husband’s joy!
inspired by & her recent newsletter titled ‘What’s Good?’
I have been beating myself up lately for not being able to creatively produce anything.
’ newsletter today was a balm, & it reminded me that it is completely normal to feel stuck in the muck of the many stressors of modern life. As a devoted daily delight collector, I particularly enjoyed her mantra ‘what is good’ and the list of everyday joys she soaks in to offset the darkness in the world. Go subscribe to her newsletter! And then write your own list of ~what is good~ 🫶🏽I read my husband my little riff on Anna’s newsletter and he said, “You could totally publish this!” and then he teared up because he said my writing emulates my energy. Wow what a compliment! The man gives me a big head lol. Any who, all that to say, if you enjoyed this edition of Parallel Charts you can thank Ben!
Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed this edition of my newsletter! If you would like to support me further, may I suggest sharing Parallel Charts on your social media feeds with the recommendation to subscribe!
